Inline Sliding Door
It has a stunningly slim aluminium profile and a slimline interlock of just 35mm so the frames sit wonderfully unobtrusively. Each sash can be up to 1675mm wide, so you can have fewer sashes and more glazed area. And because the outer frame seamlessly aligns with the sash, the door delivers a flush appearance that perfectly suites with other products in the Stellar Aluminium collection. It’s available in 2, 3, and 4-pane configurations with a maximum total width of 6500mm, so it offers design flexibility to support all architectural requirements. Efficient performance: As you would expect from a Stellar product, the performance of the Stellar Inline Sliding Door is impressive.
By design, its innovative thermal break technology means the door meets Part L thermal efficiency requirements of Building Regulations with standard 28mm double glazing. Its outstanding weather performance and security testing credentials corroborate the quality of the Stellar Inline Sliding Door.
It’s also fabricator friendly with a direct glazed fixed light which eliminates the need for a fixed dummy sash, reducing fabrication time and improving manufacturing efficiencies. Thermal insulation by design
The Stellar Inline Sliding Door represents a new approach to thermal break technology and delivers one of the most thermally-efficient sliding door systems on the market today.
The door incorporates intelligently designed polyamide thermal breaks that ensure low thermal conductivity. Effective seals and
bespoke design features provide superior weather tightness, reduce air leakage and give enhanced acoustic benefits. It all adds up to a highly insulated sliding door that has a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K with 28mm double glazing and as low as 0.9 W/m²K with triple glazing. It means the Stellar Inline Sliding Door meets the new Part L requirements for thermal efficiency with standard 28mm double glazing and its future-proofed design is ready for increased thermal efficiency requirements as part of the drive towards net zero.
